On behalf of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW), Sacramento Chapter, welcome to our website! The Sacramento chapter invites you to use our website to access information about our economic, education, Fostering Hope, health, and advocacy programs.
Sacramento NCBW education program focuses on scholarship, reading and literacy. Our health committee provides the Sacramento community with free health information including but not limited to HIV/AIDS awareness, breast cancer awareness and heart health. In partnership with Golden One Credit Union, City of Sacramento, and Wells Fargo Bank, our economic development program has successfully provided the Sacramento community with FREE workshops on wealth building, home ownership, and career assistance for the past three years. In addition, Fostering Hope assists young girls with monthly workshops on a variety of learning initiatives. Lastly, Sacramento NCBW advocates on behalf of young girls and women by working closely with State legislators and local politicians on legislation for the betterment of our communities.
On behalf of NCBW, Sacramento Chapter, I thank you for supporting our goal of preparing women of color for a prosperous future.
Yours in NCBW,
Dr. Elizabeth Sherrell-Davis
